Brigitte is fifteen years old when she poses for the cover of a brand-new magazine, ELLE. She is quickly scouted by Vadim, the young assistant of the prestigious director Marc Allégret.

Vadim shoots his first film - And God Created Woman. The heroine, Juliette, is heavily inspired by Brigitte.

Brigitte's agents and producers are ecstatic as she goes from one film to another. She also meets her idol, singer Gilbert Bécaud.
