Locked up after a drug deal goes wrong, David Slaney, a Newfoundland drug dealer, makes a daring break from a New Brunswick prison to attempt one more deal with his former partner, while RCMP detective Roy Patterson is hot on his heels.

On the run from the cops, David Slaney is sent to Montreal by Brian Hearn to pick up money for a potential new deal. Complications arise when some extreme personal baggage is exposed between Hearn and Slaney. And things get worse when an old business acquaintance starts up trouble.

Slaney and Tommy conjure their own plans against Hearn. Meanwhile, Hearn is in Mexico awaiting Slaney's arrival and preparing for an upcoming drug deal. Things escalate quickly as RCMP detective Patterson and KC Williams decide to go undercover and follow Slaney in order to capture Brian Hearn.

While Slaney and Hearn prepare to meet a new supplier, Ada is enlisted to uncover Slaney's true intentions.

Slaney heads to Columbia with Ada to pick up Hearn's money, and with the DEA and the RCMP closing in on them, Slaney and Hearn face off.
