Do Bawoo, quiet and well-mannered, once confessed his feelings to his popular and outgoing friend Ji Hoon. But his emotions weren’t fully understood, and Ji Hoon only remembers it as something between friends. Now in college, the two remain close, but Bawoo is gradually growing tired of their ambiguous relationship.

In a whirlwind of emotions, Bawoo proposes to Hoon, 'Let's date for just one week.' Hoon, seemingly in disbelief, replies, 'Okay.' However, Bawoo becomes even more confused by his reaction and gradually feels hurt by Hoon’s attitude, which doesn’t seem to take the proposal seriously.

Bawoo agrees to work on a webtoon project with Hamin, and the two begin working together. Meanwhile, Hun misunderstands their relationship as a "stalking situation" and starts to keep Hamin in check. Hun expresses excessive affection toward Bawoo, while Hamin sincerely approaches him. Caught between the two, Bawoo becomes emotionally confused and tries to sort out his feelings through writing, but the situation only grows more complicated.

As Bawoo is about to grow closer to Hoon at his house, Hoon suddenly wakes up and catches Bawoo off guard, prompting him to leave in a panic. Later, Hun misunderstands Bawoo’s confession as a fake one made just to push Hamin away, and brushes it off with a casual “Thanks.” Hurt by this, Bawoo becomes increasingly cold toward Hoon and eventually tries to end things, saying, “That talk about dating was nonsense.”

Hoon looks at a guitar pick Bawoo once gave him and recalls old memories. Bawoo is emotionally stirred by Hoon’s cryptic comment, “There are only three days left,” and grows closer to Hamin in the meantime. Then, Hoon lies about being sick to get Bawoo to meet him. He tries to lighten the mood with a playful attitude, but Bawoo asks, “Don’t you think something’s gone wrong between us?” as he tries to sort out his feelings.

Swayed by Hoon's false message, Bawoo agrees to meet him again, but he tries to keep his distance, determined to end his lingering feelings. Hamin comforts Bawoo through his emotional turmoil and stays by his side, bringing them closer. Meanwhile, Hoon reflects on the past and realizes the sincerity of Bawoo's confession after coming across a note he had written.

Hoon finally confesses his feelings to Bawoo, but Bawoo believes it comes from pity and guilt, so he refuses to accept it. Hamin realizes his own feelings for Bawoo, but upon noticing that Bawoo’s heart still leans toward Hoon, he quietly steps back. Although Bawoo and Hoon eventually share their true feelings, the emotions that arrive too late only deepen the conflict. Bawoo decides to put an end to it, saying, 'Let’s stop here.'

Bawoo ultimately rejects Hoon’s confession and tries to end their relationship, but Hoon refuses to give up and leaves his heartfelt message in a notebook. After reading it, Bawoo runs to him and confesses, “No matter how hard I try, I just can’t stop liking you.” Hoon then reveals he’s liked Bawoo since middle school. Finally, they confirm their love for each other and share a kiss.
