Meanwhile, Se Ran and Sang Chul get into Je Guk's storage, and Je Guk gets arrested for stock manipulation and keeping a slush fund.

When Sang Chul and Je Guk realize the warehouse turned out to be a fake, they take it out on Se Ran. Even when Se Ran explains that Da Jung and Yo Han set them up, they firmly believe it was her doings. At the same time, Yo Han tries to persuade Noel to reveal the truth to Da Jung. However, Da Jung finds the note at Noel's office and realizes that Noel is her biological mother.

Se Ran and Ae Ja temper the ingredients at Bobaejung, so the restaurant gets suspended, and Da Jung compensates the customers. Now that Da Jung knows the truth, Noel musters up the courage and visits Da Jung to apologize for what she has done. Meanwhile, Je Guk finds out his assistant, Mr. Kim, was in touch with Yo Han.

Madam Yoon convinces Da Jung to let go of the past and reconcile with Hae Il, her mother, who is recovering in bed. Yo Han also persuades her to grab hold of the present and live with no regrets. After giving it some thought, Da Jung approaches Hae Il. Meanwhile, Da Jung and Yo Han learn that Se Ran is smuggling in diamonds and plan to stop her.

Se Ran gets furious as she loses the diamonds to Da Jung right before her eyes. To get back at Da Jung, she posts gossip about Da Jung's marriage, and therefore, the public starts to mock Da Jung and Yo Han. Meanwhile, Se Ran gets ready for her first fan meet, and Da Jung prepares a surprise for her.

Se Ran gets humiliated on a massive scale at her fan meet, and the whole world knows about her fake academic background and work experience. Ji Hoon starts to doubt everything about Se Ran, including her pregnancy. Therefore, Se Ran quickly looks for a forged pregnancy journal.

Ji Hoon cut ties with Se Ran after Noel reveals her fake pregnancy. Je Guk kicks both Se Ran and Ae Ja out of his house and reports them to the police. Now that Se Ran is left with nothing, she heads over to Bobaejung to do anything she can to get back at Da Jung. Meanwhile, Je Guk looks into Mr. Jang, Yo Han's assistant.

Yo Han rushes to find An Na, and Da Jung stays behind in shock after receiving An Na's ransom call. Da Jung believes Ae Ja and Se Ran are behind An Na's kidnapping and trembles in fear they might hurt her. Meanwhile, as Se Ran and Ae Ja wait with An Na for the light of day, they tell An Na the shocking truth about her parents.

An Na recovers in the hospital but isn't too happy seeing Da Jung. Yo Han learns that Je Guk knows he is the CEO of W Investments, but he doesn't falter and confronts Je Guk about it, telling him he will take back Dream Food that belonged to his late father. Later, Da Jung receives an urgent call and rushes to the hospital.

Ji Hoon gets into a car accident while driving Yo Han's car. At the hospital, Je Guk throws a fit at Yo Han for letting Ji Hoon drive his car, so Yo Han suspects Je Guk did something to his car. Furthermore, Ji Hoon is shocked when he finds out Je Guk tried to murder Yo Han.

Ji Hoon is upset that he got into this mess because of his father. Therefore, he crawls up to the top of the hospital to take his own life. Yo Han stops by to check up on him and realizes he is not in his room. Meanwhile, An Na is having a hard time after the kidnapping incident, so Da Jung takes her to see a doctor.

Yo Han tells Ji Hoon about his father's accident which Je Guk had planned to steal Dream Food. Ma Ri starts working at Je Guk's home and sees Ji Hoon in a wheelchair. Meanwhile, Sang Chul barges into Bobaejung to meet An Na and accidentally reveals that he is her biological father.

Mr. Kim returns to Je Guk for forgiveness. He claims to remain loyal to Je Guk and asks for a chance to redeem himself. Je Guk gives him one last chance and lets him go. Meanwhile, Se Ran decides to see Ji Hoon for her advantage, and later, Yo Han finds himself in trouble due to Mr. Kim's betrayal.

Da Jung realizes Yo Han is in danger and fears Je Guk put a hit on him. She storms to his house and begs him to let him go, but Je Guk denies having anything to do with Yo Han. Meanwhile, through Ma Ri's words, Da Jung learns Mr. Kim betrayed Yo Han and is keeping him hostage. She plans to use herself as bait and rescue Yo Han.

Now that Yo Han knows Je Guk has a paper company to steal slush funds, he needs to find evidence that proves Je Guk is hiding money in someone else's account. Meanwhile, Bo Bae barges into Je Guk's office to cancel their contract, and he reveals the truth behind Duk Soo's downfall.

After meeting Je Guk, Bo Bae lets Da Jung and Noel know that Je Guk set everything up to steal Noel and the company from Duk Soo. Da Jung is heartbroken as she was once married to a man who was involved in her parents' divorce. Before Je Guk moves the money from Danny Jung's account, Da Jung comes up with a plan to bring him down.

Da Jung disguises as Xiao Cheung and meets Je Guk to discuss his new project. Sang Chul wins the lottery, and Se Ran suggests he invest in Je Guk's resort business. Meanwhile, Noel visits Doctor Kim for treatment, and Doctor Kim notifies Je Guk secretly.

Chairman Wang springs a surprise visit to the construction site and almost catches Da Jung and Yo Han off guard. Ma Ri overhears Se Ran talking to Ji Hoon and learns she has been lying about her pregnancy and tells Sang Chul about it, shocking him. Meanwhile, Da Jung and Yo Han's plan to fool Chairman Wang goes smoothly.

Je Guk faces heat from all directions but thinks his tail is covered. However, during the shareholders' meeting, Yo Han exposes the true nature of his corruption that Je Guk can't escape. Meanwhile, Se Ran sneaks into the shareholders' meeting, where she learns the truth behind the incident from 26 years ago and is stunned.

Even though Se Ran realizes the person who murdered her father was Je Guk, she cannot accept it as she spent her whole life trying to get revenge on Duk Soo and Da Jung. Da Jung tells her to turn herself in for her crimes, but she has to get back at Je Guk first.
