Enter Lavanya Kashyap

Buaji refuses to let Khushi work for a living. Khushi informs her father about the job offer and manages to get his permission to work. Anjali and Arnav talk about a mysterious Lavanya Kashyap. Naniji overhears their conversation and is very curious.

Lavanya scolds Khushi for not taking her work seriously. Arnav and Khushi are stunned to see each other in the office. Khushi realises that Arnav is her boss and she is working in his company.

Khushi completes all the tasks assigned to her. Arnav and Lavanya are amazed. All of them are shocked about Shyam living in the house. Khushi wants to leave office early. She wants to plan her sister Payal’s birthday party. But Arnav wants to spoil this plan.

Arnav overloads Khushi with work. It does not seem like she will make it to Payal’s birthday party. Akash praises Anjali. This makes Manorama jealous. Nani is also irate that Manorama is a slacker when it comes to housework.

Arnav asks Khushi to take part in a fashion shoot when the original model storms out. Khushi baulks at wearing revealing clothes and chooses to turn up in a sari instead. Even as Lavanya ridicules Khushi for doing so, Akash supports her.

Arnav is enraged as he gets to know that Khushi spoke about his relationship with Lavanya to Nani and sends her to work at his guest house. Khushi reaches the guest house while Mr.Sinha decides that the building is in a bad condition and may collapse any moment.

Khushi submits her resignation to Arnav. She accuses of him for ruining her life. Anjali, however, apologises for Arnav’s past behaviour and Khushi is touched. Payal asks Shyam to give Khushi a job, so that they can help Buaji financially. Interestingly, Buaji asks Shyam about his family.

Khushi ignores Arnav and goes into the storeroom to retrieve her figurine. An angry Arnav follows her and breaks her mobile phone when she refuses to acknowledge his presence. Meanwhile, Anjali is very confused about Arnav and Lavanya's relation.

Shyam is relieved to know that Anjali did not hear his conversation. Meanwhile, Khushi shocks Arnav, Buaji and Payal by deciding to relocate to Lucknow. Naani on the other hand, approves of Arnav and Lavanya's live-in relationship. Arnav is concerned about Khushi, but hides it from Lavanya.

Arnav and Nani decide to keep their differences aside during Anjali and Shyam's anniversary party. Payal and Khushi are elated as they finish preparing the sweets for the party. Anjali is delighted to see the surprise Shyam plans for her. Khushi is shell-shocked to learn from the manager that she needs to deliver the sweets to Raizada house. Payal talks sense into Khushi and requests her to complete the order so that they can get back Madhumati's bangles from the pawn shop. Nani is furious when Lavanya drops the sweet dish which she had prepared for Shyam. Khushi realises the problems at home and decides to deliver the sweets to Arnav's house. Khushi is scared to enter Arnav's house.

Arnav is shocked to find Khushi in his cupboard. However, Anjali tells him about Khushi getting the contract for the sweets. Khushi fails to see Shyam, but is insulted by Arnav. Later, Shyam is astonished to see Khushi in the party.

Nani disapproves of Lavanya's dance performance and complains to Anjali. While a frustrated Lavanya drinks, Shyam escapes the party. Meanwhile, Khushi consoles Anjali. In the meantime, Manorama spoils the sweets, forcing the manager to cancel Khushi's contract.
